The Injected Nitro
Here at Pure Sixty Four Amps, we set out to meld three of the greatest electric guitar amplifier “souls” ever produced by the modern guitar amp…the classic BF amps from the sixties, the Tube Rectified Marshall’s from the sixties and finally, the California ODS tones of the eighties.

Make no mistake, as much as we’re aware that it is impossible to improve upon perfection, we never felt that perfection had been achieved by any one individual, company or boutique amplifier builder…even the so called “great ones” mentioned above. If we felt this way, then why would we attempt to improve upon perfection and start another boutique amplifier company which builds replicas of the same old “perfect” amps?

The great builders of our time have created a “soul” and this is what makes them “genius”! Since we cannot deny the “genius” that Leo and others had achieved, isn’t this a great starting point?

Enter the Nitro and Injected Nitro amplifiers from Pure Sixty Four!

When we released the Pure Sixty Four Amps “64” model, we proved that it is possible to improve upon the BF tones from the sixties and those who have played through one will agree…the “64” is a familiar “feeling and sounding” amplifier but reinvents itself, refines and then redefines the “soul” of the BF amplifiers.

Preserve the amazing “64”, then add the “soul” of the Marshall and ODS amps from the 80s and the result will help you reach “guitar nirvana”!  The Nitro has the most unique lead channel pre-amp in the industry, it allows this amplifier to attain the most “non-compromise” foot switch-able amplifier tone you will ever experience! The clean is as good as stand alone “64” Mean Street and the lead channels are equally amazing!

The Nitro, with its switch-able clean boost/SOD* selector, allows you to go from the sweetest pushed blues tones, on the edge of breakup all the way to the soaring, singing sustain tones that remind you of the greatest vocal violin tones you’ve ever heard and back to the amazing cleans of the “64”!

The Injected Nitro has the same exact tones as the Nitro, with the added flexibility of an optional T.C. Electronocs G-Major effects unit on-board! The beauty of these on-board effects is they DO NOT SIT DIRECTLY IN THE SIGNAL CHAIN and therefore, the effects DO NOT RUIN the amps tone like EVERY OTHER “effects amp” on the market…this is no modeling amplifier…don’t even think about it!! The Nitro has a Pure-Tone signal path, with or without the effects engaged, you can’t tell the difference…same great tone!

Try one, you’ll be amazed!

SOUNDS:

Clip 1: Suhr S-Type guitar with the Nitro.

Note: All clips were created for the Foy Brothers band, not explicitly for demoing the Nitro. The reverb in the clips is not the amp's reverb, it was added in the post mix.
