Like all Pure Sixty-Four creations, the Mean Street Classic is an amplifier soul that was born from the tones we all know and love from the “old days” and we have painstakingly preserved that soul in yet another great circuit…a 20 watt power section with two 6V6 tubes beating wildly at its heart!

No doubt, it’s everything you remember from those experiences “back in the day” but unlike the amplifiers from that time period, the “Mean Street Classic” ups the ante with its six-position curve switch and its intelligently interactive EQ.

Single channel/non-master volume 20w push/pull, class A/B point to point, hand wired all tube head, featuring custom Mercury Magnetics transformers, unique "Curve" feature and Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors (Allen Bradley's used in locations that effect the amp's tone).

CONTROLS

Volume

Curve (Unique 6 click "curve" rotary switch that allows the user the option to select 6 different EQ curves. When the curve switch position is changed, the bass, middle and treble remain active to allow the user to dial in a specific sound. For example, position 1 gets that 65 Deluxe vibe and position 4 brings a more girth and howl ...and other unique curves that just smoke when you use a gain/distortion pedal in front of the "64" Mean Street Classic.
This is accomplished with an entirely "analogue signal path"...no transistors! This feature alone makes the "64" Mean Street Classic one of the most versatile 6V6 amps you'll ever experience!
